Oh- I finally figured out that the rumor might involve a Nikon S2, not a Leica S2. LOL.
Anyways a new first either way for the NYC Meet-Up.
Might John be the S2 owner?

Ah, Cal, I've used that VF and it is very nice. Hey, can you bring the 50mm f/2 Heliar with you? Thanks.

It seems that the Leica VF'ers are priced crazy or impossible to find. Also that Zeiss 25 is an apealing lens since I also traded my Nikon 24/2.0 AIS away.
I will bring the 50/2.0 Nickel Heliar. I'm guessing one thing you like is its small size.
BTW how much CA on your M9 with a 75 Lux? A thought passed my mind that my 35 Cron V.4 and my 75 Lux would make a nice pair on a M9 or M10.
Not sure if I want a second film M-body (MP or M7) or go really crazy with a M9 eventually.

You guys stink! I was just in NYC this past weekend.
Possibly could be a sign I just need to move there.

Your summicron will work great of course. I'm not sure about the 75mm... but fast lenses in general show a lot of purple fringing on the M9 in certain situations. Perhaps Tung would know better? A MP would be nice if you don't go M9! Thanks for bringing the heliar.

Ah, you should have let us know... we would have had a special meet-up for you. Next time I guess... or yeah, just move here.

New York is a great place to shoot and live. Also this place kinda makes you crazy.
We always tend to foster arrangements that make it easy and convenient for quests to attend. Just be aware that there is always great potential for major GAS attacks. At one recent meet-up we had 7 M9's one of which was a chrome M9P.
Also there are guys that still only shoot film like me. LOL.
