Its good you can make it. Thanksgiving generally means traveling for a lot of people.
EARLY PLUG: February is the Fourth Annual Camera Beauty Contest. Let the trash talking begin. LOL. I should have an unusual entry this season.
Also know that over the past 4 years we have had monthly Meet-Ups except for one month that somehow got skipped. I believe November is our anniversity.

Is it okay to move the Meet-Up to Saturday November 17th? I'm double booked for the 18th. Sorry for the jerking around.
The only real rule for the beauty contest is: "No Biting." Anyways I'm trying to secure a chrome M9M and have a Leica representative looking into securing one for me. It seems currently chrome versions are only available through Leica Solms, but my dealer has to deal exclusively with Leica America.
No worries about entering an other camera: I got plenty.

I can do the 11th but realize I was going to take off work on the 9th and develope film for three days straight. Somehow I have 146 rolls of film in my refigerator that need processing. It's a window of opportunity because my girlfriend will be away and this means I can trash my apartment developing film like a maniac without having to deal with "woman factor."

Earlier in life I flew a lot since my sister worked for TWA. Basically everything bad that can happen to you flying around and being jet-set has happened to me except being hyjacked or involved in a plane crash.
First I'll let the Leica Rep from PhotoPlusExpo respond, but also know that the northeast is still kinda in a state of emergancy. For instance we are assuming that Puck Fair will have electricity by November 11th if that's the new meet-up date.
Also know that processing film even over a two day period is a bit of a marathon, so three days is likely unrealistic. The real bottleneck is drying space since I deal with an 8-reel tank.
Anyways I'm exploring Acufine and Rodenol. Also photography is more fun when its crazy. Thinking about getting a scanner (Plustek for 120), and then there's the idea of getting back into bookmaking...

I'am planning on heading over to lower Manhatten this weekend and do a all day walking tour to see how bad things are. I'll swing by puck fair and see how things are going

The last week-end of November is Thanksgiving weekend. Pretty much assured that no meet-up will be scheduled during that time.
