Anyways 2012 has been a very-very good year for me photography wise.

Sunday the 11th works for me.
A friend just dropped off about 20 rolls of Fuji Color Super HQ, 24 frames, ISO 200.
Anybody able to use it? If so I can bring it. If not, I will take to over the the New York Camera Club, and put in the "Take-it, Free Box".

Some parts of the city and Long Island are still in a state of emergency. Lyn's brother's house was submerged and now needs to be gutted again. Last Year Irene flooded his house, but this year is worse.

The Beauty Contest is in February. Now is the time to accumulate accessories.
Anyways the judging seems to favor the bizzare and unusual. Pimped out cameras to the extreame seem to draw a lot of attention. It's basically an annual gearfest.
Last year we had multiple catagories... It's kind of beare knuckled fighting with only one real rule: "No Biting."

The NYC Marathon was cancelled, but I will try to put a dent into 150 rolls of film that are choking my fridge over a two day period (Friday and Saturday).
Yesterday stocked up on negative files and fresh developer. Don't believe that Diafine lasts forever because I think I killed mine after using over and over again over a two year period.
Today and tomorrow I will mix up some chemistry at work where I have HPLC grade water that measures more than 18 megaohms. Also loading up on this waster because it makes a great stop bath/rinse before fixing.
Sunday's meet-up will be a rest day.

Ouch!! Well I hope your still standing by Sunday. Just gives me heartburn thinking about 150 unexposed rolls of film. I'am guessing now that adorama is back ordered for negative sleeves and Diafine??

Perhaps if I'm lucky I might get through 75 rolls. No shooting this weekend, and perhaps by Sunday I might be blind. Not sure if I'll start with the 135 or the 120 first.
Pretty excited that Nippon is servicing my GM670 and my 65/8.0. Pretty soon will be able to carry a pair of Fuji's (GM670 and GL690) as a long short pair that both will be freshly service and ready for mucho use.

I'm not sure what you mean... I love the feel of the Sigma DP2 Merrill (which is why I bought it...well, that and its ridiculous IQ). I'm not a grip guy I like a soap bar more. The sigma is a simple camera and that is usually what I look for. Simple menus and dials that dont get in the way. Didn't buy it in Japan... bought it at Adorama yesterday.

Well I thought it would be more plasticky (for lack of a better word) and less solid like the fuji's. Lots of hype around this camera so it would be nice to take a look.
