Not entirely sure this is the correct forum but since the target camera is an M9 then in here it goes.
Novoflex make adapters for various makes of lens to fit on M mount cameras. They do one for contax/yashica and I'm thinking that I might be able to use my contax lenses on an M9. But I don't see how that would work. Focus on the contax lens would not be linked to the rangefinder as far as I can tell. So how would focusing with this adapter(LEM/CONT) work? Is it just by approximation of distance?
