Dad gave two to me over Thanksgiving. Both look solid but need new seals. One cam's shutter would not fire. One cam's shutter would fire sluggishly. I kept firing that one until it was near 100 percent. 1/250 and 1/500 occasionally would fire sluggishly, then fire fine. After the cam sat for a while, the first shot or two would be sluggish, then all would fire fine until I let it rest for a while.
Well, I left the "good" one cocked when I went to work yesterday. When I got home, it would not fire, period, just like its twin.
Aieeeeeeeeeeeee! These cams look too nice to just weight paper. Because of a neuropathy, I cannot do tiny little mechanical things. Replacing light seals is the upper limit of my digital skills, and is maddeningly frustrating, but doable.
Is there a member here who could fix both and keep one for payment? I would foot all of the shipping costs ...
