[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]NPPA region 2 is sponsoring a free open projection and education evening Thursday August 23, 6:30 - 9:30 pm at the Burger Guru, N 9th Street and Berry Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
There is plenty of parking in the area and the location is closest to the L train subway stop at Bedford and Metropolitan Avenue.
All photographers, NPPA members and non-members, are invited to attend and to present their work. Free food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. Share photos, videos, and multimedia with fellow visual journalists on our 60-inch screens. Presentations should be no more than 20 photos and videos should be three minutes or less.
We'll also discuss photographers' rights during the upcoming Democratic and Republican conventions in Tampa and Charlotte.
