Looking at the first roll of this film that I have developed I see the following numbers on the edges:

"KE 0286 5617" and "Eastman 5222 438 00705 154LM".

The KE.. number looks like it includes a frame number since further on it says "KE 0286 5618". Any idea what the other numbers mean?

This was a respooled 100' daylight load roll which I bought from Film Emporium so I don't have the original label which might have given me some clues about the age/expiration date of the film.

I haven't used respooled mopic film in a long time but it used to be edge printed with the emulsion number and footage numbers.

Tom A. will know for sure.

The multi- digit number is a running frame number as you correctly assumed. 12 inches between indications. I suspect that it is also used for editing film rushes.
The 5222 additional numbers are simply emulsion numbers. When movie makers buy film they want it all from the same emulsion as that way they can control factors like developing and filmspeed. For us regular 35 shooters it does not matter that much as the variables are not really noticable in "single frame" use. When you buy cans of 5222 from Kodak, the yellow tape on the outside of the can has this emulsion number stamped on it.
