NX10 or NX11 for legacy manual glass?

I'm thinking of acquring an NX10 or NX11 to use with legacy manual glass (Pentax K, Leica M). My main reason is that they're cheap to have and come with an EVF. The alternative would be a NEX-3, but that lacks the EVF.

What do you think? Also, which of the two to get? Or does it not matter?

I am afraid that it is not possible to adapt Leica M glass to Samsung but only LTM glass.
So I guess that the Sony Nex is the answer.

Well, because they have made the NX mount with too long flange focal distance so that it is not possible to create Leica M adapter:

Strictly speaking, the mount would be short enough (by some 2mm) - but it is much too narrow to let the M bayonet pass.

You can physically change the mount of an NX to an M-mount. You'll lose compatibility with NX lenses and autofocus, but as a pure manual focus camera it's an option.

A NEX camera will take an M adapter without a problem. The NEX-6 is your best bet if you want one with an EVF. (Or a 5-series with an add-on EVF.)

get an NX10 or 11 (pretty much the same) for all of the SLR glass and ltm. Take care with ltm - the short flange distance interferes with some CV glass with protruding rear mounts/glass.

The NX lenses are excellent in their own right - 20/2.8 pancake, 30/2 pancake and 60mm macro all at reeasonable prices and worth building as a low cost mirrorless system.

Yes, I heard the NX lenses were quite good. But I'm not in for buying into another system, I'm quite happy with my Micro Four Thirds stuff. I'm just looking for an affordable digital option for my manual lenses that has a larger sensor, and I think the NX10/11 fits the bill here.

How about focusing, is it correct that the NX10 with the latest firmware has an MF aid?

There seems to be a peaking option, though not quite as fine-tuned as Sony's implementation. If all of your lenses are ltm I won't worry, but do check the depth with a ruler before putting any of them on the camera.

If it is like the NX100 (I expect it will be as they are viewfinder and non-viewfinder versions from the same generation of cameras) there is a manual focus aid of sorts. It's a vertical column that rises and falls; the highest level indicates sharper focus. I had a play with it but didn't take to it. Maybe though a viewfinder it would be more a useful than on the back screen.

I use 28,50 and 135mm K mount lenses on my NX10 so can confirm that you'll have a nice working kit there.
I should mention that the NX10 EVF is quite useable but not up to the latest standards, the NX20's is much better but that would take the rig to another price level.....
