I having som serious problem getting my NX100 working with a M42-adapter. It just keeps saying "No lens" when I press the shutter release button. No matter what mode i put it in "P, A, S, M, Movie) helps. I have gone over the settings a hundred times and nothing seems to work.
When I first got the camera it had firmware version 1.00, I have since upgraded to 1.02 but it did not help either.
Is anyone else having this problem? I can´t imagine Samsnung being so careless as to make the camera not work without a NX-lens on.

On the Sony Nex there is a menu option to 'operate shutter without lens', I would have thought there would be a similar option for the NX - its just a matter of finding it and setting it. Can't help you any further as I haven't got an NX. You will only be able to use Manual and Aperture priority exposure modes.

It might have shoot without lens option buried in the menu, plus the adapter may need to be jiggled.

Unfortunately the camera doesn´t seem to have the option of "fire shutter without lens". I have seen this function on many other cameras I have owned but this seems to be missing it.
I have also tried to "jiggle" the adapter without any luck.
I´m all out of ideas and really confused as I also have played a bit with a NX10 and on that camera with the same adapter it works just fine. Without the need to set anything special in the settings menu.
