Lol, yes it did. For future reference, when clamping a camera to a branch, make sure the branch can hold the weight.....
ouch! that hurt's
I'll get in trouble for saying this but, it not a pro built camera it's what
I call semi pro. it's not up to the standards of the D4 and DF even my
D2Xs may be a bit more refined sorry.
On eBay they have camouflage skins for the d800, but nothing pink for the Df. Someone must make these.
Bob,
Its a fact: some cameras are "Pro" cameras and others are not.
It is what it is.

Most of us don't need a "pro" camera anyway. High quality, sure... but we are not going to Antarctica or to War.
John,
I basically buy gear to keep and somehow I get attached. Some people are not so sentimental. Most people don't rig their cameras as weapons. LOL. I do just in case...

The one think I notice about the pro camera's is the Nikon or
Canon put their best into those camera's, look at my old EOS1DS
it's a tank, it's autofocus flies and the viewfinder is 100%. etc. etc.

Cal, one of these days I should give you the follow up tutorial regarding color and raw files in Lightroom. I can show you a few photoshop tricks also, and then there is the DNG profile editor.
Hey, let's remember that the Df's VF is 100% ... it gets shat upon, but it is quality all the way.
With a 50mm lens, my m6 has a 200% finder!
