Hey guys, I am currently in NYC (staying in Chelsea) and would like some tips on where to develop my color rolls. I just need developing, no print - maybe scanning would be fun, depends on price.

Any recommendations?

Other general gear/film/exhibitions tips etc are most welcome! A friend recommended me Aperture Gallery, which I'll be checking out. I'm here till Monday.

Thanks in advance!

If you want cheap, there are numerous places in Chinatown which advertise 30 minute processing and charge about $3. Many CVS and Walgreens will also do this, but not many still do C-41.

Printspace is for artsy-fartsy types.

OK 🙂 I guess I'm lazy and want my stuff to be handled correctly, so printspace will be OK, since it's also quite close to where I'm staying.

I was at CVS on 87th and Lexington but didn't get the right vibe from the person there... Not sure she knew what she was doing.

Since both Adorama and B&H are closed for a few more days, can anyone tell me where to get some Portra 160 (135)? All I can find is Fujifilm Superia 200 (24) at Walgreen's or whatever it is... (quite cheap though).

Calumet's film selection was really sparse on E6 stuff yesterday

Next door to Calumet is Vista CRC
Their development seems to be okay, but their minilab prints were off and I had a few mismounted slides

Hoping they're flukes, as I like them

Luster gave me scratched negs once
There's also LTI Lightside
