Jack Ker-O-wack wrote the original manuscript for "On The Road" on a roll of industrial paper towels.
How did we get so far off topic?

Good thing it was on paper towels, wrong type of paper and the story could have been crappy....
What were we talking about again?

One day I might get one. I am starting to like my F more and more, and either S3 or SP would be a wonderful companion.
Their really nice, life size viewfinder, quiet and build like a tank.

I agree about everything except that my S2 is quite a bit loud. Don't know if the SP and the S3 are quieter

Yes, they are.
Who cares if it's loud? I haven't seen you photographing the Opera lately Pramodh!

It is reported that versions that have cloth curtains are quieter, but the metal shutters are more durable.
Compared to your Pentax 67 almost any camera is quiet except perhaps a Nikon F3 with a motor drive.
Anyways by being loud and obnoxious is how I meet so many people. LOL.

Back to one of the topics ... moving from gear heads to print heads :
I just ordered this book :
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/essays/the_digital_print.shtml
I'll let you know, if it brings anything to the party, which I can use to improve my file preparation for having them printed at the Blick art store - but I sure hope so.

Klaus,
Thanks. I'm a pretty clever guy and this and another book is all I need to move forward this fall. Pretty much obsessive behavior will encourage my development of digital printing skills. I'll be home bound and since I won't be able to shoot, I'll just shift to concentrating on just printing and editing.
Since I have the attention span of a rather small dog, doing only one thing at a time is best for me. I really can't multitask, but when I concentrate on only one thing watch-out.
