New York NYC September 2012 Meet-up?

16th is day 1 (I think...) of Roshashana. Are there no Jews among us? Oy. (I'm a lapsed RC myself, but my partner's Jewish and we're off to her cousin's house in Armonk. I can hardly wait....) If it's the 23rd I will attempt to make my first appearance at one of these babies. If the waitress also models, we're in the right kind of place. Where is it?

Vince, we meet at a place called Puck's Fair which is on Lafayette just below Houston.
We don't check for religious affiliation, but I think it is a good idea to avoid jewish holidays, because occasionally people like to stop by Adorama on their way to the meet.

Harlem Public is slow to open.

Everyone, Puck Fair has been our longest term meeting place, but Keith and I have been waiting for this new uptown venue to open. I love Puck Fair, but sometimes change and variety is good, and also trying to be as inclusive as possible.

Perhaps in the future we will alternate in the future with an uptown and a downtown location. Anyways Madhattan is only 12 miles long and three miles wide, and Harlem is a very interesting place.

I'm ok with any Sunday. I'm not a religious man. 😉

We should also consider September 30th. This would be great for a lazy slacker like me.

Also Arri, do you want me to bring my Noct-Nikkor if the meet-up is booked for the 30th? Also know that I have Beattie Intenscreen installed. Although brighter, not the most contrast as a stock Nikon K screen.
