Thanks very much for that post, FPjohn. I enjoyed the pictures, several of which I hadn't seen before.

AND, it led me to this article: "Why Did Garry Winogrand Photograph That?" about Geoff Dyer's new book on Winogrand. That article also contained many intriguing photos.

I read this article and a few others. He used an unusual camera, something that you would not think a 'street photographer' would use. Thanks for posting the story of this unusual artist.
