NYT: Keira Knightley's Bosom

A while back I read about a proposal to give retouchers credit alongside the photographer... I think that's an excellent idea, and would at least do something to alert people to the level of retouching that's out there!
 
Regular exercise, combined with healthy eating habits, won't make most people egregiously thin. There's a variety of human shapes and sizes, and this huge industry that espouses only one model of that spectrum is not healthy by any means.

It's really not about fat/thin, but about real spectrum/constructed reality. Which is more than just weight–it includes complexion/beauty (makeup, drug, & plastic surgery industry) as well. All in all, it teaches women (and men) to look exclusively outside themselves for validation and self-worth, putting some precious cargo on a quite stormy sea.
 
really, there are two big groups where people are, and a very small third group.
One that is striving hard to be like the non-existent thin figures with big "bosoms" and perfect skin from billboards and fashion shows and tv commercials. Really naive people poisoned by what we are visually fed day by day.
The second one says some gibberish like i like myself how i am, and beauty comes from inside, bla bla, and slowly (or quickly) getting too fat too unhealthy. In fact they are desperate people who try to convince themselves about the above and who gave it up to get back into shape -ever, really depressed people poisoned by what we are fed day by day.
The third category, the small one: well, that's me of course 😀

i love how people with a very biased view think and say their "norm" is ok and everybody else is obscene (and immoral and pervert and so on...)
 
This thread has drifted away from Ms Knightley's bosom in a disappointing fashion.

I recall reading an article where she mentioned that she had been shocked by the promotional posters for King Arthur (that you have linked to) as her breasts had been enhanced digitally. I think she has been quite candid about her frame from the outset.

I would love to spend an afternoon alone with her and my Hasselblad and some TRiX!!

I think it is a good move and about time that outright deception on the part of advertisers is reigned in. Lies for commercial gain are regulated/illegal anywhere else you look.
 
Yes sad to say. Most heroine's breasts heave up and down in the heat of passion. Keira's does it anyway with a little help from Photoshop. But she is a sweetheart and makes a joke about it herself. So I do not hold it against her for one moment.
Although I would like to :^) ahem!
 
It would seem to me that lawmakers are wasting their time trying to legislate what should be a parent's job. As usual, send people to the capital, and they lose their minds, collectively. No nation is immune...
