Are you using software to fix the color shift int the corners? I found pretty severe color shift on the Nex5 w/ the cv 21.

Improved dramaticaly w/ 5n

Still vignettes, but compared to what it used to do--so much better 🙂

Any technique that can produce compelling photographs is not a toy - even if the resolution isn't all you wish it could be.

I've found the quality of the pan, especially uniform speed of rotation, strongly determines sharpness. This is to be expected of course.
