Almost 70 years in photography since her mother built him a darkroom when he was only 10! A distinguished Magnum member excelled mostly in B&W like the majority of the old masters, however by concentrating rather on different phases (and faces) of the developments in the States since the '50s... An incredible talent and a nice guy according to a professional friend of mine who was taught by him. He's recently published two major book collections through Steidl but unfortunately they're very expensive.
