this lens is the shorter, lighter version of the 200mm zuiko.takes 49mm filters. focus is smooth, glass has some dust inside however wont affect image quality finish is damaged from wear and looks fair
he told the exact truth and the lens is worth all of the 20 bucks i paid for it.
if i ever need a small, light 200 in a dangerous situation where there is a possibilty of death and destruction to either me or my gear...this will be the lens i take into battle with me.

You could make a living at bring and buy sales.
The 200mmf5 is a pig to hold steady, think about a mono pod or clamp... You wont know how good it is otherwise...

@When using a tripod, hold the camera steady with both hands and press the shutter release with the ball of finger, not with the cable release.@

...wont know how good it is otherwise... - actually I found it to be true on all lenses above 135mm, included. I long thought that my 135mm f2.8 is a dog, till got perfectly sharp image from it - just learned that my handhold technics must be improved. Now my wife added this lens to the list she refuses to be photographed with.
