I catch bits and pieces of it, unintentionally, usually while channel surfing. Being heavily involved in youth sports, I kind of take issue with the marketing aspect of little kids playing baseball. I think they're too young. It can be fun to watch, but, all too often, I see and recognize certain elements that propogate and emphasize the negative aspects of youth sports. And yes, unfortunately, there are negative aspects, usually, when adults (and corporations, network TV) get involved. I love baseball, though, and that's what gets me to stop and watch a game or two. 🙂 Sorry for the slight rant.
Really? Interesting "observation" because I've latched-on to the Series in large part due to its complete lack of commercialization. Perhaps it's the Kellogg's Frosted Flakes ad that bothers you?
