Tom: Isn't it nice to have yet another patient in the asylum?

Yup. The more the merrier, without a doubt

you talkin' bout me??
tom, i never heard back from you so i thought you were interested in a trade only, sorry.
considering the christmas parcel rush, i am not holding my breath about getting this stuff in too quickly.
but that's one of the nice things about it not being rf gear, no rush and no panic.

I was just teasing - not complaining. You're right really - I thought a trade was probably the only way we'd come up with something mutually satisfactory.
Nearly offered you a 200/4 as well, but I'm going to hang on to that one for now...

oh yeah - another OM addict. I use my OM1n more than other gear I have - it just feels right in hand. Wonderfull optics can be had for a song - I got my mint OM 135mm f2.8 for $30. That 50mm f1.8 MiJ (considered as a body cap by some) is very sharp. Mine has filter thread damaged and some dirt inside but who cares - it takes wonderfull pictures :>

Igor: Nice shot! the miJs, as you know were the last iteration of the 50/1.8, and are the best. As dreammoose (aka Georgia's #1 Curmudgeon) pointed out, the late series of 50/1.4s are extremely good as well, and then there's the 50/2 Macro, which I could only hope to acquire as a Fang.... and the 135/2.8 for $30 is definite Fang territory as well!
Well, maybe the big cheese will set up an Oly forum and we can sneak in OM threads. And how about a bulk purchase of the OM-M adapter? Cameraquest doesn't stock them, but I'd love to be able to use some of my OM glass on a Bessa T.back alley said:we should start our own oly club!

I'm not sure jorge would be open to it, it opens a slippery slope for pureists and all. But on the other hand, worst he could say is no, no?

I see an Oly forum here as primarily RF ... that certainly wouldn't be created on DSLR!
Archie: That would be one expensive RD!

i meant an oly section on dslr that we could use for om chat.
dslr is no longer strictly digital.
anyway...all the 'won' gear has been paid for (money orders mailed) so now it's waiting time and seeing if any of it gets here by christmas.
thorirv has already posted the winder even before my payment was mailed.

Yeah, joe, I know what you meant, but I still like the idea of an OLY RF forum here. I wouldn't log in to DSLR just for an OM discussion; RFF is my "home" ... that may be sick/sad, but right now it's the way it is!

Poor deer ... yeah, I omitted the 50/1.2 (you lucky cad) because even though I know its reputation, I've never even seen one, much less used it.
Hey ... wtf!!! I left the OM list partly to get away from OM GAS!!!

Very lucky! I just happened to be online when Bill Barber posted one for sale - first of four "yes pleases" in about 30 seconds.Trius said:Poor deer ... yeah, I omitted the 50/1.2 (you lucky cad) because even though I know its reputation, I've never even seen one, much less used it.
