So I work for county government here in NC and we get this healthy living newletter every month. I happened to glance at the cover of the June issue and saw this- very much to my surprise.

Of all the digicams in the world this woman could be holding, there she is with an RD-1. Since I'm the only camera geek here at the office, I thought I'd share with all of y'all.

That's propably because the photographer who took the studio shot uses the RD-1 off the set and threw it as a prop.

I'm sure you're at least very close to correct with that froyd, but again...of all the cameras in the world- even dSLRs- it had to be this one. It just gave me pause when I saw the newsletter in the break room.

Yes, pitxu, obviously the all-too-common mirror self portrait.

And yes, BillP she's a pretty one- even if she doesn't know how to properly handle the world's first digital rangefinder camera.

Looks like a "genuine mirror shot" (camera reversed). And what a lens!

Its very likely that the designer flopped the image to fit the layout. I don't see how with that lighting, expression, and the way she's holding the camera, that she could have taken it.

That's my guess anyway.
