2012 FSU Contest because it finally promted me to put a few rolls through the FED-3. A camera I saved for a year or more to buy circa 1968, and was last used in 1982.

Chris Crawford’s “…photos from Fort Wayne” thread helped me realize that walking around and documenting my area isn’t indicative of some abnormality. I had fallen in love with Bill Owen’s book Suburbia when I found it at a library in 1976. Chris’s work reminds me of Owen’s work.
RFF has been instrumental in helping me to return to shooting film. I had been involved in so many photo forums that ignored film, dismissed it as unnecessary, and even went as far as criticizing anyone who shot with film as cheating their clients. RFF made me realize that not everyone had given up on film.
