Just wondering what flash setups most G owners use? I have the 140 but was thinking about purchasing a TLA 360 to use off-camera with a portable softbox. I guess I will need the TLA extension cord for TTL? Am confused exactly which one I need... I guess I could run a standard PC sync cable and use the 360 manually - it's seems to have a reasonable amount of manual control. The TLA extension cords seems so short!
Any other suggestions? I don't suppose the 140 can fire any Contax flashes wirelessly? That would be cool ;-) Does anyone here use multiple flashes with their G's?
I must have spent over three hours on various sites and forums tonight researching the Contax G flash system, but I must say it's more than a little confusing! Some 'real life' tips would be wonderful. Thanks very much.

As far as I know, Contax/Yashica never had a wireless TTL or AE flash system. Contax however were among the first with a wired TTL multiflash system. Its cables, adapters and accessories often show up on ebay, and fit any Contax flash with extension plug. As far as third party solutions go, Metz have flashes with wireless capability that can be SCA adapted to Contax cameras.

I have a TLA20 and TLA280 with a 5m linking cable, plus a coiled hot shoe to TLA cable, and they work as expected. So does the Metz 40MZ3 with 32CS slaves and SCA 382 adapter.
