I would vote for the case. If you are planning on taking the two bodies out at the same time with different lenses attached (especially in winter), you are going to want a second case. I don't know what you thought of the 21/4. I know that your reason for selling was not necessarily related to your feelings about the lens. But you did sell it. And the 15, obviously, is even more extreme. My 2 cents.

i sold to buy.
liked the 21 but thinking wider is better...

That makes things more difficult. But I think that I still vote for the case.
One camera with grip and wrist strap, the other with case and neck strap. Keep the camera with the case out and ready with your most used lens and the other in your bag handy to grab when you need it.
I vote lens.

in winter there is a good chance that i will use one camera and one lens for street shooting and maybe carry one extra lens if i plan on heading indoors for some same trip shooting.
15 could be a hoot and if not, 'for sale' is a friendly sign to hang.
of couse, there is that 50/1.5 that might prove interesting...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news (or possibly good news depending on how you look at it), but it looks as though someone may have made the decision for you (a pm has been sent on the lens - not by me).

There it is. Get the lens. Luigi will always have the case for you.

I think the CV 15mm is a great lens... Maybe because it is still relatively new to me, but it is my 2nd most used focal length at the moment! In my experience its not a lens you get the hang of immediately... I have had my fair share of badly framed/thought out shots (this lens drags EVERYTHING into the frame), but I've also been happy with a lot of the results. Here are some examples from my first roll -

Joe, like you say, if you don't like it you can sell it & get another Luigi case... Do you really need a 2nd if you are likely to take only one body out into the cold?
Cheers!

as to what i 'need', i really don't need the lens or case...

Film is good. You could get quite a bit of it. The problem with doing that, I've found, is that freezer space becomes an issue.

You could order some J&C 400 Pan. Apparently it's good stuff.
