My sisters are asleep or I'd develop the roll I have in the crappy point and shoot and post. I also have a partial roll in the P that I thought about developing.
 
Excellent work! You've got your photography under control, and I think I can understand your "angle" by the titling of your pictures. That being said, "alternative fuel" could use some more sharpness to match the technical quality of the other four. 🙂

Intresting observation - same as I had when I shifted it from NikonScan (where it kind of looked okay) into PS.

It was a "quickie" shot I "grabbed" just before getting into the car that day. I cropped it a bit - but it is slightly OOF. But I liked it anyway so planned on putting it into the Gallery. [Heck, ever seen some of HCB's OOF pics - ugly! 😉 ]

BTW: I very much liked your color shot - great shadow/contrast that "works" with the blue sky. The builiding pic might have benfited from an "angle" rather than streight on, however....
 
with the server move scheduled for tomorrow, i have stopped uploads for tonight to make the move easier. it will be back up tomorrow. I hope.

George, I have hundreds of shots I could upload. One or two days wait while you move to a new server seems pretty easy to take. I'm behind you on this ... ;- )

copake i like how the viewer can just barely read the posted sign in your 4th shot. I gives just enough info to read as a no tresspass sign.

Thanks. You probably know that it's one of the standard "Posted" signs one sees in the country.

BTW: Like all your uploads but your third pic is great. It's virtually abstract. Very nice use of shapes and contrasts.

Great shot - BTW, did you see the latest "Lenswork"? One of the featured photogs does "classic car" shots.

Your work compares very favorably, you should be proud.
 
You guys are making me want to develop both my rolls and I can't. I really need to get my own place...or at least get the door fixed so that I can go between the laundry room and my own room without disturbing them.

See, I always figure, when faced with a situation like that, you should do it anyway. Who do these people think they are, living with a photographer? I did two rolls tonight just because I wanted to remember what rodinal 1:25 looked like, vs. 1:50. You know how it looks? Tri-X in Rodinal 1:25? Freaking beautiful, that's how it looks.

Go and measure out your chems, you know you want to. 🙂
 
Bah, I'm going to bed. I'll do it tomorrow when I get up...after I clean up the pig sty that I'm calling a bedroom at the moment. This room is a mess. 😛

Well, I was gonna upload this, but the upload link was missing, so I was then going to ask here if it was not working or if I just couldn't find it and then I found this thread. Anyway ... 🙂
