I have searched high and low to find the thread that someone posted this week with a link to a site that had these great propagana slides from WW11. I can't find it and I would like to show it to my wife... we collect vinage clathing and WW11 stuff ... if anyone has this link please let me know .

"eric" over there posted a link to a flash slideshow program's site, and it had a number of "vintage" photos of WWII, or damn good reenactments.

The link escapes me at the moment, but if that's it, I can find it quickly.

This is similar territory: http://www.loc.gov/exhibits/boundforglory/glory-home.html. The book is very nice. It complements all the photo books of b&w pictures from that period.

That pic (the 1st one, of the woman sticking her head thru a hatch) is available from the Library of Congress at no charge. They have a hi res copy. I printed it out once and it is spectacular. The colors are excellent!
