Does anyone have experience w/ Focal Point lens repar? He bills himself as being a specialist in optics and is listed w/ LHSA. The reason I'm considering sending my lens to him is because I've tried the repair w/ a local Leica person who wasn't able to get the job done (and may have even made it worse). My thinking is that DAG and Krauter are more inclined to body work. I don't want ot send to Leica because of turn around ime and the repair work may not be any better. Any suggesitons before I send out the 75 'lux? It's an issue with the focus at inifinty. It seems to be short. Now the focus ring is becoming loose as well. The glass is just fine. So is the aperture. The lens mount is not in the same condition as when I took it to the 1st repairman, who I'll never use again (he is also listed w/ LHSA). It has a ding on it and the chrome plating has cracked.
