ok, so i'm NOT done!

I sent my M7 away today and last night I paid Kully for a Hexar RF ... I will now have a rangefnder with AE and 1/4000 shutter speed. :D I am down to my selected choice of M and screwmount bodies and I have a Bronica RF645 for MF and a Crown Graphic for 5x4. I have 15/28/35/40/50/75/90 and 135mm lenses and a few FSU cameras for counter culture shooting!

I will be surprised if I buy anything significant for the next year unless it's darkroom gear or maybe a Hexanon 50 if I find one at the right price!

I think I'm done! :)

[edit] actually I wouldn't mind a 50mm Summilux if one came up at the right price! :)

Well I thought I was as well but then I discovered Olympus! And it was the members here who where responsible! After my request post for an OM one member very generously offered me a free OM and a couple of lenses to try but they never showed and he probably had second thoughts about his offer. Thats OK but don't offer if you are not going to follow up and not replying to mail IMHO is just plain rude.
Anyway back to the thread, apologies. I managed to get hold of an OM1 for 20 euro! replaced the seals, thanks Jon G and I like it, a lot. Can't beleive I missed these great cams 25 yrs ago! Lenses so far 50 1.4, 85 f2 (thanks Tim) and just waiting for my 180 from Joe! Now all I NEED, haha, is a 24 f2 (if anyone has one PM me)
Thanks chaps, this site is costing me too much!!!!:bang:

Dude,

You just gotta sing the same tune once every two months right?
Who are you trying to fool? Yourself?
Us???
:D

Congrats on your purchase. When you'll be selling it at a great price - remember i asked first. ;)

Hey guys, it was his birthday present. Everyone is allowed something special on their birthday. :D
Now having got that good excuse out, I have to think up a good one for the big box that arrived today.

True, a birthday gift.

But I have to admit, I never believed him in the first place.

I just purchaed a Yashica Electro GTN with aux lenses and finder. Did I need them, no, but I did want a easy shooter for those days I dont feel like figuring everything out. I think cameras are like moods, you cant have only one or you will be boring.

Whats the difference between the R4a and the R4m?

The paint finish is different too, one is black something and the other is black something else.
