Yes, it´s really great. I love it, too. More than 45 posts just because of another camera - wow. The world would be different if one of us is done.
Btw: Congrats to your b-day and your present.

bob, the r4m is a great camera.
i wanted the r4a also because i have grown lazy with the zi and like to use the ae all the time. i thought the r4m would encourage me to get back to basics a bit but that didn't work out so well. the r4a will make it easy on me again. though i'll keep the r4m also.
the camera is a joy to use, i love all the framelines and the smaller, slower lenses, makes a great, small and lightweight kit. i can carry it all and barely feel it. it is a solid camera that feels great in my hand.

Congratulations
Congratulations
Congratulations, Joe. If you haven't already thought about it check out the new 21 Skopar "P" m-mount for your new R4A. I bought one for my RD-1 based on Sean Reid's review and it's incredible. Now I need a viewfinder for it to use on my "T". Hence, the example from the RD-1. Regardless, enjoy.

joe, happy you got a b-day gift!
seriously, though, for me I am GAS free insofar as film M lenses and bodies are concerned.
I have the long term goal of obtaining a digital M body...when Leica releases an updated M8* or a M9 digital, the current M8s will be available for significantly less cost than they are now. I will pick up a current M8 in a few years.
