OK, the EVF really is fantastic.

I know many of you have had one for months, but I just got my EVF for the 5n.

Wow. It is unbelievable.

My eyesight is -4.25. The diopter just manages complete correction. The thing is so sharp you can get away without mag--except with the real fast ones, but you hit the mag button and its crazy accurate.

I also find I get less shake, so can drop my shutter speed nearly by half.

The image quality in the EVF is unbelievable, and the refresh is rarely noticed.

Yup. I bought the EVF as a later add on after I found the LCD to be useless in bright sunlight. However I keep the focus peaking on by default so I have to use the mag button everytime I focus.

It is not cheap. a Nex5N+EVF is close to the price of the Nex7. But happy with it.
