Okay, any shops that can grind glass, for Nikkor restoration

Okay, does anyone know of shops that can grind glass, for my Nikkor brightline finder restoration project?

I want to cut about 3mm off the rear face of my SBOOI optical head. Basically slice off a thin segment.

Dear Vick,

Try your local optician. They're used to grinding and cutting cutting spectacle blanks.

Dunno if it'll work but if you don't ask 'em, nor will you...
