Okay, the formats don't compare, but if 6x7cm good enough, is the GF670 a better choice?

Factors:

- bellows might be super cool

- from what I read, an amazingly quiet shutter, and fantastic lens on the GF670

- price: GF670 is cheaper than the Bessa III, but double the cost of a GW690III

- GF670 is smaller and lighter than the GW690III

What do other users think?

I have a GW670III and wish I had the Bessa III GF670. There I've said it... :bang:

OK, why you may ask? More compact, built in meter (got lazy after going from M4-2 to R3a) and can switch between 6x6 and 6x7. Sure it's no 6x9, but hey film is getting expensive and I need all the shots I can get from a roll.

I have the gf670, gw690, and Bessa II.

The Texas Leica also has the loudest shutter.. Handles well and because of its weight is pretty stable shooting platform in terms of low shutter speeds. I tend to use the Bessa II when I want 6x9 because it is lighter and more compact, leaf shutter makes it sooo quiet :). I use the gf670 for compact size, quiet shutter, built in meter and 6x6 format (not a big 6x7 user ).

All three have really good lenses.

Good luck
Gary
