So...
Having a taste for vintage rangefinders, I finally managed to get a lovely Ricoh 500 kit (Circa 1959) in full working order with loads of period extras.
I have a lovely minicam flash unit, with mains adapter and battery pack, which works great, off the mains, but for the battery pack I need to track down a very odd battery...
Eveready 491 240V!!!!
Now the odds of getting this are going to be very slim, but I may rebuild a new powerpack using pp3 batteries, but does anyone know anywhere to get vintage batteries? Would prefer to find a proper battery before I start hacking it about...
Any help would be great.
And I'll try and post some photos of the kit soon for you all to see.
