Interesting! I had never heard of the place. A nice diametric contrast to the autumn meetup six months apart at the BMW plant!

Al, should be able to get some maps from CSX online, just do a search.
So, are you still on for Old Car City on Saturday (Mother's day weekend)? I have it on my calendar with an alternative day for any Saturday after that if it rains or other things come up.

That sounds good. I need to get the railroad map book for Georgia. I have from Maryland to Maine, and some from out west. Maybe I can get one before May.

Bump. Are we still looking at Sat.the 11th? Need to get up to DE to work on selling the house. Can do the car place, then leave at 8 PM on Amtrak...

Don't think I'm gonna be able to make this trip. Finances & job is tight right now & have a trip planned for Roanoke over the summer. Besides the 11th is National Train Day & will be trackside with the local railfan group.

I was at Spencer a few years ago, but there was only the standard Spencer stuff there. I saw 630 in Chattanooga about 10 years ago. now that I'm closer to there I am glad they have more trips planned...
