Vince, I love this shot! The pump is perfectly vertical, ready for business, it looks like it's waiting for the station to re-open. And there's a hint of the store building in the back. Just waiting to be stocked up with some Slim Jims and Lay's potato chips. Or, since it's out west, maybe Laura Scudder's potato chips. Do they still have those? "Less little crummy chips, more big yummy chips" was their slogan.In all the many times I've been out West I think this is the only gas station-related shot I've ever done. And I'm not even sure that there was a gas station ever here.
