Old Kodacolor Processing

I found a roll of Kodacolor II film (C-41 Processing) in one of my dad's cameras. As he died in 1983, the film must be at least that old, as I don't believe that anyone used his stuff after that date. The question is - does it pay to try to have the roll processed? It certainly would be interesting to see what's there.
 
YMMV, depending on the exact circumstances of its storage. The colors will be a bit off and the contrast might be low, but there should still be a visible image on it - and scanning should be able to regenerate it to decent quality.

C-41 is the still current standard CN process, so you can drop it at Walmart or the like - but there would even be labs that specialize in developing much older color film...
