I recently picked up a Zuiko 135mm f3.5 lens for $30. So I headed out to a local hot rod event to test it out mounted on my OM-2. The combination of the old lens and Fuji Superia 400, well what can I say?

Looks pretty good! Although judging by the first shot it might be front-focusing by about 30 feet! 😀

I love the second shot - you caught the guy's girlfriend yawning. Nice colours and a good job with the scans.

The Zuiko 135 is a great lens, I have two of them (one was mine, the other my father's...he went digital..eew!). I like the girlfriend in the second photo too...she's cute😀 (ok, I like big girls, I'm a little skinny dude, I can't help it!).

The Zuiko 135mm f3.5 is VERY small compared to the same focal length/aperture lens by Nikon or anyone else. It is about twice the length of a 50mm/1.8 and the same diameter. It takes 49mm filters just like Olympus's 50mm lenses do.

Wray, good shots 🙂

I think f3.5 Zuiko lenses are tack sharp, contrasty, and super compact regardless the focal length.
