Hi,

recently picked up a batch of AGFA APX 400(which I was hoping to be 100 - advertised as APX 100-will sort tihs out with seller). Anway how do I tell if this is a new or old batch? The expiry date is May 2011, so does this make it new? Wanted to know as people say the old/ new batches have different dev times.

Oh and if you can post up your own photos and dev times to get sharp+minimum grain with this film(APX 100 and 400). Thanks.

Took a look into fridge out of curiosity - one box of mine says AGFA with romb logo, expires on 05.2011. Another says AGFA PHOTO, expires on 06.2011

From what I see on developed film, it's same emulsion. Somewhere on Net were mentioned that old emulsion will be coated on another base (synthetic?) so I hope we still will get lovely tones.
