They've already been rebranding Panasonic point & shoots, so this would just be an evolution of current practice. Not sure how much good it ultimately would do Leica though.

Canon copies Leica and makes their little film rangefinders, later Leica copies Canon for digital cameras. Irony. Oh well its all good, that would mean Leica would be putting out Canon mount lenses though....that is what I would be interested in!
