When we go off on one of our photo trips we usually take along some of the old cameras from our collection. Last weekend we took along a Zeiss Super Ikonta 532/16 folding rangefinder and a Voigtlander Perkeo III ( the rare rangefinder Perkeo). We loaded the cameras with some Kodak VHC 120 which had an expiry date of 1988; yes 1988 !.
The film has been in the freezer since we got it a couple of years ago but where it was stored before that we have no idea.
The film was developed in a Jobo Processor for the usual 3min 15sec using Patterson Photocolour II.
We were more than pleased and a little suprised that anything came out. Every frame was okay though a little overexposed. The negs were scanned and run through photoshop to remove the film grain etc.
Below are a couple of the photographs taken; one from each camera. Not bad for film that is 20 years out of date.
