Here's a digi shot of my recently acquired Canon EF kit with 50f1.4 and 24f2.8. I'm off to take pics with it at the fall fair.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the pix you get from both of those lens.
What film will you be using?

Beautiful camera. I hope you enjoy it. I just got a really nice Nikon S3 from member rf bob and I am enjoying using it a lot. I still have a preference for my Leica but the S3 is fun to shoot. An SP would have been cool + but the S3 is great. - Jim

Frank, Rob seemed like a very nice guy. He is a great seller if anyone wants to buy something from hiim. Regarding the EF, those old Canon and Nikon slrs are still really very nice cameras. I have a Nikon FE2, just a few years newer than the EF but a very similar, and I used to shoot with it a lot. I remember thinking at that time, why would anyone need anything else? Sometimes I still think that. Of course Pros need more and some people want to keep on top with new cameras and I used to do that. Now I really enjoy the older film cameras especially for b&w. I haven't been active on RFF until a few months ago and I am delighted to find so many others enjoying these old cameras. - Jim
 
You mean it would need to be made out of wood and brass Roger? But I agree. A camera younger than oneself is not old. 😉

That's about it. My Leica IIIa is quite old (14 years older than I) and my Exakta is only a few years younger than I. But all this through-lens metering stuff.... I'm not sure...

Nice kit Frank. I'd like a 24/2.8 FD. I already have the 50/1.4 breech mount. Heavy lens but I like it. I just got some photos back from a recently aquired T70. Nice camera but the electronics take a bit getting used to. I also have a 28/2.8 breech mount that is sharp. I took it with me on a hike through some trails along the Yadkin resevor.

I haven't tried it either but I bought some Rodinal to try 1 hour stand. I have a flickr contact who has been doing some amazing work with 1:200 stand development with Rodinal. Check out Holden's flickr & scroll around to see some amazing work.
