I sent my Gossen Lunapro(Lunasix 3) for CLA and silver battery adaptation to Oleg Khalyavin - he did a great service and dirt cheap to!

I shot some slide film to check - right on the spot.

So I am basicly trying to let you on the fact that this man can fix anything(he said that it was the first lunasix he fixed).

For any type light meter repair, this guy is the best there is:

George Milton
Quality Light-Metric
7095 Hollywood Blvd.
Hollywood, CA 90028, USA
Tel: 1-323-467-2265

Fantastic work, very inexpensive, and fast. He has a parts locker that must have every part for every meter ever made. The last meters I sent to him were Weston Range 9's and they came back perfect. He even still had a replacement incident dome for these old meters (one of mine was missing).

He does meter calibrations for the Hollywood motion picture industry and his work is outstanding.

Tom, do you know he would fix a light meter like the CdS that's built into a YashicaMat?

I am absolutely certain he could fix the meter. The problem is, he probably will not fool around with disassembling the camera.

He is a meter repair guy, not a camera repair guy. If you tore down the camera so he was JUST working on the meter, I would bet a ton of money he could get it working like new.

My son had a 1957 Chevy he rebuilt. He wanted the engine rebuilt to original specs. The best engine guy in the state of Florida had his shop 15 miles from us. The guy is in the Florida Racing Hall Of Fame. But you have to bring the engine in all by itself. He refused to remove or replace the engine in the car. But it was worth every penny and the labor to boot.

I would remove whatever is necessary to get at the meter and call George up (he is a great guy and is always willing to chat a bit) and ask him to take a look.
