Has anyone seen an Olive Drab Canon 7 before? I've never seen one before. I know of legitimate Canon F1 Olive Drab specimens, but the case and lens on those are not painted green.

This has a green ERC! 😉

A month back the same seller had an anniversary F1N, that no one in the Yahoo FD group recognized. It had authentic looking papers and a gold medallion glued to the left shoulder.

Here is the link to that auction.

This seller must have access to some very special and rare cameras.

I think these are been done in Japan as I saw a website some time ago with variations in colour. A model P was placed on eBay sometime ago in the same livery but never sold or the asking price was way overboard. Canon RF cameras cannot be copied like Leica can, hence there seems to be an effort to bring out various Canon models that seem to be "rare......................hummmm!!!!!

And the paint's not dry under the rewind knob....

They aren't finding the number of loose walleted (?) buyers they expected, I betcha.

Would like to be kept informed on things like the P with the eagle. We should have a clearing house listing the fakes and phantom items seen by the members.

As Brian once said, there should be a trick to set up a filter in evilbay not to even see the listings from this seller who keeps polluting our search results pages with his $$$$ BIN uninteresting items... 🙄

How true 🙂 That's bringing spam to a whole new dimension 😉

that seller always has very clean new looking cameras, however the prices always seem way too much, maybe he has Mr. Peabody's WAYBACK machine 🙄

There is a filter already. Go to "Advanced Search" and click on the circle beside "Include"; click on the down arrow and select "Exclude" and type in the name of the seller you want to eliminate. I do this all the time with gold-camera and airwatches. Sometimes I add others. It works quite well if you spell the seller's name correctly and place a comma between their names. Example: gold-camera,airwatches

I have no comment on "fugly" here, but I can tell you straight out, from personal

don't hold back, tell us what you REALLY think 😀

I agree that the camera in the web link is ugly- too shiny for starters. I came very close to painting a Canon P olive drab using Gun-Kote paint, but sold it instead. I was planning to have it covered in green snakeskin. Not a bad concept, but flogging the thing as a military piece is just bogus (you may wish to append a "dude" onto the end of this sentence.)

I have never purchased anything from arsenall because I think that their prices are way too high- I can't imagine anyone buying their stuff, but obviously comeone does given their prevalence on eBay.

Agreed, these listings are annoying.
