Oly 35RC: any love?

Me too, actually, and it's a rather more complicated reseal than your average camera. Mine ended up being in great shape otherwise, though.

Quick question about the shutter--it's a leaf shutter, correct? That is, it isn't horizontal travel, but an aperture-like configuration?



You are right about the pincushion distortion, but so far it doesn't bother me too much.

Pincushion, no problem for me. And the leaf shutter is one of the best things about these (type of) cameras. You will have flash synch all the way to 1/500.
 
I have four bodies; all working. They've been given to me by people who've gone digital. One looks like it was used as a hammer, but it's the sharpest of the bunch. For some reason, camera technicians don't mind working on it. I can tell you that the lens is very sharp with nice bokeh.
