Oly 35RC stuck aperture, fixable?

Hi, one of the nice things associated with being known as an "enthusiast" for older equipment is that, sometimes, people donate their old cameras. I have been given a cosmetically very nice 35RC. It had a battery fitted so has some corrosion in the compartment, but quite cleanable. The shutter appears to work on all speeds but the aperture does not move. It is stuck on its smallest opening. No aperture indicator is seen in the viewfinder. Is this a fixable problem, it looks like it takes quite some effort to strip down?

It's a real nice camera, I had no idea they are so neat and well featured. If this cannot be fixed I may well buy a worker.

I took the base and top casing off, then the front plates from each side of the lens. it looks very complex in there. The metalwork at the base of the meter is quite corroded due probably to the battery being fitted for the last 20-30 years. The meter still moves freely, but I'm not sure if this is an indication of a lost cause.

It is likely there is/are wire(s) broken in the meter circuit. As for the stuck aperture, flushing a few times with a bit of lighter fluid may free things up.

Be sure the pivot points are not corroded and binding.

Also be sure the slide points and the spring are free moving.
