Olympus 35 RC shutter needle problem

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 35 RC off ebay which looks to be in great condition. It came with a battery and seems to be working ok in auto mode (without film) so the meter must be working fine. My problem is with the shutter speed needle which always stays on B even when the shutter dial is at any other setting. Any help will be much appreciated.

Under the top cover there is a spring loaded arm that is supposed to ride on the shutter speed cam. This moves the ss needle around. Sounds like the arm has come off the cam. John
