Olympus 35 SP exposure issue

I had been using my 35 SP on automatic mode. The frames always seems not so sharp. I was thinking it was rangefinder was not alligned or that it was camera shake. I just developed a roll that I shot in full manual mode. The frames look to be much sharper. I will scan some when they dry. I just wondering if the 35 SP is choosing a shutter speed that is really low when it's in automatic mode and hence camera shake. Anyone else noticed this?

I just checked the meter against my Sekonic L-308s. The meters match. I'm just thinking that something is off when I set the camera on automatic and let the camera choose the shutter and aperture. It seems to be choosing a really low shutter speed. Hence what looks like camera shake to me. I'll scan my negs tonight and see if they are sharp. I tried to shoot around f8 or more than 1/60 of second whenever possible.
