Olympus 35 SPn value

Hi,

Long time no see.

I am trying to figure out how much my Olympus 35 SPn is worth, but the paucity of eBay auctions and general rarity of the camera itself is making it difficult to determine a fair price. Any ideas? It's in excellent shape, but I just don't use it anymore.

Here in Scandinavia they are sold from $100-$200 depending on condition. I have seen them sold higher on ebay, but at the end its all up to whoever seeks them. i have one, perfect condition, but i wouldn't pay $300 for it. Thats what i paid for my perfect condition Leica CL...

Over the last three years, I've bought and sold two of these. They both cost me $100-$120 to buy and sold for almost the same, either way.

Definitely a camera that can hold its value. As for increasing in value...perhaps not as a rule, yet. They're great for the money, IMO best-in-class.

Thanks guys -- it's a nice camera and it should be in the hands of someone who will actually use it. It's in great shape and the meter is accurate if used with an adapted Wein cell. Am also thinking of selling a black OM-1, but those are going for so little these days I'm not sure it's worth it.
