Hello everybody. This is my first post here. My name is Voytek, I am living in IL, US -close to border between IL/WI, right by the lake Michigan. I am quite inexperienced in photography, and novice regarding film. I already shoot three 35mm films and two 120. And I love it. However I choose medium format to start with film, for 35mm my pick was Oly SPn. Some samples, any comments would be very welcome. My development, scanned with Epson.

Voytek,

Welcome. Very nice indeed, I especially like the statue ones. There's dedicated section for Olympus RF's, you will probably get more of a reponse there.

Welcome from an Olympus fan. You're in great company with that camera, and great choice for first time foray into rangefinder-dom.

Your pictures shows that you know what you're doing, and a very good start. If you would complete your post with film choice and development info, that would be even cooler.

The statue photos especially showcase that incredible balance between sharpness and smooth bokeh that in my experience, is characteristic to the 35 SP family which, arguably has the best lens among fixed rangefinder cameras from Japan.

Thank you all for such warm "welcome". I have several rangefinders, but this one is special. Zuiko and fast one. I have to try Konishiroku 1.9/47(Konica Auto S), too. For me sharpness along with wide angle is not so important (Oly RC), I prefer rather better bokeh without taking "macro" shot. I have also other Oly, the "spy" one - XA. Having Koni-Omega with set of lenses (5.6/58, 3.5/90, 4.5/180) seems to be quite challenge job to do, either.
Regarding samples. I used Ilford HP5+400, for developing used Rodinal 1+100, Ilford Rapid Fixer 1+4, common stopper, washing etc. I use Jobo tanks. Darkroom is ready, I am not yet.
I have to confess: Fall in love with film, it is a shame that so late.
I already bought FED 2B, slowly I started to think about how to be ready for Leica.
