Olympus 35 UC Images

Hi RFF members !

I'm starting a new thread dedicated to the Olympus 35 UC.
I've been collecting Olympus Pens and 35 cameras from the 60s-70s.
Until now, I've only ever used digital (mainly my Fuji X-Pro1 and X100s).

I finally got around to shooting some FujiFilm Superia 200 film.
Basically, the set is a bunch of test shots rather than anything serious.
Having said that, I'm a complete beginner anyway.
I was glad that the focussing come out as expected.
For the exposure, I looked at the UCs meter, but to be sure I then used my iPhone light meter app.

It's a shame that the processing lab scanned the images at low resolution. Next time, I'll ask for higher resolution scans.
Looks like I'll be buying myself a nice film scanner 😀

Nice stuff. The UC (the U stands for Unobtainable, I think) is a slight repackaging of the SP, which is far and away my favourite camera. The UC shares that fabulous f1.7 lens.

Yes, I got very lucky on eBay for the UC, then realised only later on it's quite rare compared to the others with the same lens.
I've got carried away, and also have an LC, chrome SP, and black SP.
For now, only the UC goes out to take photos.
I'll have to try some FujiFilm Neopan 100 in the black SP 😀
